HOW TO REGISTER & BID
Ascendant Auction Galleries offers multiple methods to bid. Whether you prefer to bid privately from your computer or wish to attend an auction in person. We also offer several methods of proxy bidding, both online and in person. We ask that all requests be submitted no later than 24 hours prior the scheduled start of the sale. All other request will be considered circumstantial.
In Person: Some of our auctions are live events, and take place at our Gallery located at 2701 College Ave, Beaver Falls, PA, 15010. Please arrive at least 30 minutes in advance of your lot(s) to register the day of the sale. Complete a bidder registration form and present it along with a photo ID and Valid credit card. After checking in you will receive a bidder number and paddle.
Telephone & Absentee Bids: Telephone & Absentee bids can be placed by completing the bidder registration form and submitting it in person, by fax to 724-581-5062 or email to email@example.com
The same form is used for both telephone and absentee bids. If you would like to telephone bid simply leave the maximum amount column blank and check the box with the telephone icon. Please include a primary and alternate phone number to be used for the day of the sale. Please expect a call from one of our staff from Bidder Registration department to confirm your telephone bids once they have been entered in our system. On the day of the sale, a representative of Ascendant Auction Galleries will call you approximately five lots before your indicated lot is offered. You will then be live with one of our representatives to complete the bidding process for that lot.
Live Internet Bidding: Watch or bid live on the internet with Ascendant via one of four online platforms: HiBid, Invaluable or Auctionzip. We offer three ways to bid online to assure you will have plenty of opportunity to successfully bid in real time. Many clients, especially those outside of the United States, prefer the ease of bidding live online at our auctions. It’s easy to register with us online and you can watch the auction as it happens and place bids from the comfort of your computer. Please note that all online bids will be charged an additional 5% to the buyer’s premium for their services. You may register with the online venue of your choice just click one of the links below.
Viewing Online: All lots are available to view online with full catalog descriptions, images, and estimates from all three online platforms. Images can be enlarged for closer inspection. Since all lots are sold "as is," it is important to request a condition report prior to placing a bid. If available, condition reports are posted on the lot detail page of the website. We highly recommend that potential bidders gather as much information as possible regarding a lot before placing a bid.
